The following list is intended to give your Life Group some ideas for service in the local community. It is not intended to limit your group in any way and there will likely be ideas from members of your own group that are not included in this list. Please feel free to use any of these opportunities or those generated in your own group.

Bethel’s Fall Festival Booth

Serve with your Life Group in the Bethel Temple Fall Festival Booth in October. Your Life Group can serve as a team in the Booth and strengthen your bonds as a group while serving our missionaries. Watch the bulletin and listen for announcements to sign up for this exciting serve opportunity.

Other Ideas

For a widow, the elderly, and the poor: clean their yard, mow grass, plant flowers, rake leaves, caulk/repair windows, clean their house, etc. You may know of someone OR call the church office for a name.
Visit Shut-ins - do house work or yard work. Call Church office for information.
Get involved in the “Coat a Kid” and “Toys for Tots” programs. Watch for announcements of these programs in the fall.
Sing as a group in the Saints Alive Choir.

The Sunday paper will often have in the LIFE section an area titled “You Can Help” that will list donations and volunteers needed for various charities in the community.
